What is destiny? Some people called Destiny, ‘Fate.’ You often hear people say ‘I am fated to marry him’ or ‘we are fated to meet’. Destiny is an event that will happen to you in the future. Basically, there are two types of destiny; the changeable (controllable) and unchangeable (uncontrollable). For example, I am a professor, so, is this destined or is this my 15 years of hard work? Obviously, this is a controllable destiny because I work hard for it and stay perseverance. It is a conscious decision that I have made and stay on regardless.
On the other hand, there is destiny that is definitely unchangeable, some examples, the home that you are born into, your country of birth, your family culture and the colour of your eyes. From this, you know that 50% of you is predestined and 50% is your wilful and careful actions and decisions.
If you’re not happy with your changeable and controllable destiny, then you’re responsible for it. Did you know that you can change your controllable destiny? To change your controllable destiny, simply adjust your decision and action! The methods listed below are surely ways to help you transform your controllable destiny and improve any problematic situation.
In the bible, God has ripped off a part of Adam’s rib to make Eve. This simply means that your spouse is a significant part of you. Hurting your spouse is as good as hurting yourself. Losing your spouse is exactly the same as losing yourself.
There’s an old saying of ‘There’s no place like home’. Home is an essential ground for you to acquire TRUE love, peace and security. A primary residence is at least made up of the husband and wife, with some backgrounds, such as parents and children, if any. Many researchers have reported the impact of broken homes on anxiety, depression, suicidal, and delinquents.
Another most practical impact is suffering from financial losses. It’s hard to find a long term wealthy and powerful man who has a broken home. Whenever the husband and wife fall out, it is easy for an outsider to intrude your home. Husband and wife must stay united at all cost. The only way to protect your home is to remain faithful to your spouse, regardless.
Learn proper communication skills and compromise! And importantly, stop visiting the nightspots and drinking alcohol because this is the focal point of wrecking your home. So many lost souls hang around these nightspots and don’t let them lead you astray! Remember a home belongs to us, not you or me, it’s ours and it’s about us.

Making things work requires the long and laborious effort of both husband and wife, but wrecking your home, just needs one of you to do that. So, you see, it can be fragile. Learn to protect your home by first protecting your relationship with your spouse. Learn to weigh the cost of losing your home. Many suffer mentally, physically and financially due to broken home and it’s just not worth it!
Act and speak morally because your children are modelling you. To every child, their parents are always their role model and heroes/heroine. The children grow up to take after their parent’s characteristics and features. These facts are scientifically proven! Therefore, be that parent you want your child to be. For example, if you’re going to be proud of your child, then your child ought to be proud of you first because they are modelling you. There’s a saying, ‘Be the man or woman that you want your child to marry to’. Similarly, ‘Treat your spouse the way you want your child’s spouse to treat your child’.
Most of the disasters and difficult people you meet are mostly due to inappropriate speech. A word can kill and heal you. Abusive behaviour does not necessarily come from physical; it can come from verbal expressions.
The physical wound can heal over time, but a hurtful comment can stay on for life. So, learn to speak wisely and positively, and you will start seeing positive changes in your destiny!
Let demonstrate this, for example, if you need to comment, ‘You have a naughty child’, try changing it to ‘You have an active child’ Replace it with a positive word but still hold on to the meaning. Try it, and it works like magic.
Learn to listen more than talk. The wise one is the listener, not the speaker. The listener is the receiver, and the speaker is the giver. Think about it, is the receiver richer or the giver?
Learn to talk less will help you, especially if you have nothing good to say. Successful and influential people speak less, speak positively and are always empowering others with kind words, yet didn’t gossip, didn’t add ‘salt and pepper’ to the words, and didn’t bad mouth anyone. Remember, a word can kill and heal.
A word has the power to change your destiny!
I cannot say more about the benefit of exercising and meditation. Exercise helps you get in shape and scientifically proven to increase your self-esteem. Meditation builds a clear and peaceful mind. Many poor decisions that lead to a failure destiny come from a cloudy mind and low self-esteem.
Pray while you meditate, learn to stay quiet and alone. Enjoy the peace within yourself. This way, your God can hear you and help you with HIS divine power. It does not matter what kind of religion you are into.
The proper and respectable religions (Gods), they do well and will help you do good. Many researchers and religious leaders have found that counting your blessings at least once a day will improve your happiness scale. Honestly, it works. When you’re contented, you have a lower chance of making an error in your decision. Error in decision making is the foundation of a faulty destiny.
Another way to nourish your body and mind is never to indulge in immoral activities, such as engaging prostitutes, gigolos, drug consumption, gambling addiction, alcohol toxication, theft, lies, betrayal, and greed over food, money or sex. Behave well; after all, we are born human, not an animal. We are intellectual human beings, unlike animals. Therefore, learn to sleep well, eat well, talk well, behave well, feel well, and think well.

To add on, you can also utilise the flow of Feng Shui to nourish your body and mind that is discussed below.
There is formless energy around us. Formless energy is also called “Qi” in Chinese culture. If you frequently fall sick or experiencing unfortunate events, then it is time for you to conduct an audit-check in your living and working environment.
Ask yourself, are you living in clutters and dust? Did you spot any spider webs, ants, lizards, cockroaches, rats and other types of pests in your environment? If so, why should you assume that you’re living in a safe and healthy environment? Obviously, if you don’t’ then how you can expect yourself to live in comfort space and breathing healthier? Now you get what I mean.
Also, check if you have comfortable walking space because clutters can form dust and safety hazard. Look out for sharp and irregularity shapes corners and edges around your environment because it can cause subconscious threats to your well-being.
Since 5,000 years ago, our ancestors and wise men have used “Qi” to increase our well-being. Even the Chinese emperors diligently craft their living conditions for the formless energy “Qi”. This cannot be nonsensical because Feng Shui has proven the effectiveness of activating a smooth flow of energy that increases our overall well-being.

Charity does not necessarily mean giving out your money. Do you know that a genuine smile on your face can make someone’s day? Now, that’s charity! Helping a friend move house or type a letter for your friend, are some examples of charity that you can act upon without forking out your money. Of course, you can still make donations; for example, build houses for the poor, if you can afford.
Any sort of WISE act of kindness is charity. However, take note of the true meaning of compassion. There are basically two types of kindness; wisdom kindness and foolish kindness. Lending money to your friend so that he/she can pay for his/her gambling habits to the money lenders is definitely a foolish kindness. On the other hand, lending money to your friend to pay for his/her university degree is seen as a wisdom kindness.
Another form of charity is repaying kindness to those who have helped you or have taken care of you during your adversity, is definitely a MUST. Sabotaging or ignoring them (your benefactors) when they needed your help in return, can definitely cause ill-fated misfortune to you and your family. It’s challenging to change any unfortunate destiny to good ones if you were ungrateful.
Learn to gauge wisely while helping.
Wisdom comes from books. Read a lot. I’m not talking about gossip magazines here. Read quality books (such as mine J) lookout for books from credible researchers and reputable religious leaders. A wise person is unlikely to make the wrong decisions. Like I always say, “A Wise Man Knows the Future”. It helps to shorten your route to success. A learned person knows himself or herself well. Study your life destiny to start with. You learn to recognise the subconscious you and make constructive changes to your destiny.
Add value to yourself! Go take a course, learn a new language, or travel widely. This will improve your culture and mannerism. This is a sure way to improve your destiny too.
