Verdict: Low Auspicious
The top trigram represent mountain and the bottom trigram represent water. Visually, it represent water flowing from the mountain, where we do not know where these pool of water will flow towards. Some may stagnant near the rocks, while some may flow to the sea. The hexagram 4 tells us that we are ignorant or that we are the teacher teaching someone who is ignorant. Therefore, the learning process requires strict rules, yet gentle in our disciplinary, in order to see success. Having a good learning attitude and moral behaviour is necessary to avoid trouble.
Line 1: We are learning something new here. As a beginner, be respectful and be strict with the learner. Disciplinary action is required to avoid future disasters.
Line 2: Be kind to the newcomer, yet strict. Don’t give up educating the newcomer. Teach well and things will improve over time. It is similar to the husband having a concubine in the olden days, yet we accept but still teach and disciplined the concubine.
Line 3: Do not commit crime, adultery or infidelity as disaster shall befall. Being stubborn and acting immorally will invite trouble.
Line 4: We are with bad company now. Nobleman and mentors are out of reach. We are in an arrogant, foolish and lost state.
Line 5: Be humble and seek kind and moral companions, mentor and nobleman. Make a decision to do good and speak positively from now onwards.
Line 6: Be gentle, patient, kind, humble and moral is the solution. Disciplinary and sincerity to turn over a new leaf are required.
